读书 Google 正则表达式搜索引擎算法

此白皮书对入SEO入门级是极好的材料,以下记录了一些笔记以作加深记忆:
1.Ideally, you should create a unique title for each page on your site.
2.Simple-to-understand URLs will convey content information easily.
3.Create unique title tags for each page.
4.Choose a URL that will be easy for users and search engines to understand!
5.Description meta tags are important because Google might use them as snippets for your pages.
6.remember that the URL to a document is displayed as part of a search result in Google, below the document's title and snippet.
7.建议您在网址中使用标点符号。网址 http://www.example.com/green-dress.html 比网址 http://www.example.com/greendress.html 对我们帮助大得多。我们建议您在网址中使用连字符 (-) 而尽量避免使用下划线 (_)
过于复杂的网址，特别是那些包含多个参数的网址，可能会给抓取工具带来麻烦，因为它们可能会产生大量不必要的网址，全都指向您网站上相同或相似的内容。 Googlebot 可能会因此而消耗大量不必要的带宽，也可能无法为您网站的所有内容编制完整索引。
建议您使用 robots.txt 文件阻止 Googlebot 访问有问题的网址。通常情况下，建议您拦截动态网址，例如生成搜索结果的网址或产生死循环的网址（如日历）。在 robots.txt 文件中使用正则表达式可以很容易地拦截数量较大的网址。
尽可能避免在网址中使用会话 ID，建议您使用 Cookie 代替。
8.如果 Google 知道这些网页的内容相同，我们可能只会将搜索结果的一个版本编入索引。我们的算法会选择我们认为可以最好地回答用户查询的网页。不过，现在用户可以通过将 <link> 元素和 rel="canonical" 属性添加到该网页非规范版本的 <head> 部分，为搜索引擎指定规范网页。添加此链接和属性可以让网站拥有者识别出哪些网页具有相同的内容，从而向 Google 提出建议："在内容相同的所有网页中，此网页最有用。请将该网页排在搜索结果中靠前的位置。"
9.Google AdWords provides a handy Keyword Tool that helps you discover new keyword variations and see the approximate search volume for each keyword.
10.Make it easy for users to distinguish between regular text and the anchor text of your links.
11.High-level analysis is possible via Google Analytics and Website Optimizer.
12.Effectively promoting your new content will lead to faster discovery by those who are interested in the same subject.
13.Prepare two sitemaps: one for users, one for search engines.
